There is an environment protest at Heathrow airport going on at the moment.  In  the era of cheap video recording and internet distribution points you can get a great view of what's going on by watching videos by protesters on youtube.

Lots of different people uploading video of this including Climate Life and ChildofFlewin .

So these kids put an unintentionally amusing mobile phone video on youtube of them rapping and giving it the large.

So far, so hilarious.  What's so amazing is the way this has been picked up and remixed again and again by people with different music, video cuts and so on.

There's dozens of other remixes on youtube ranging from Kraftwork to spoofs like the Persil massive.  It's all a bit mean to the poor little sods really but what it does show is just how far the cost of video and audio production have fallen - even 5 years ago you would have needed a £250k Avid suite and a day in a recording studio to do any of these remixes.  These days it can be done on a cheap PC with Final Cut Pro and Pro Tools.  We're seeing creativity unlocked in real time here.
